On June 20th, we had the absolute pleasure of speaking at Invisalign Live, one of the biggest events in the dental calendar and let’s just say… the energy was unmatched.
Our session was all about maximising your Digital Smile Days (the new and improved term for Invisalign Open Days) and helping practice teams walk away feeling confident, capable, and ready to convert.
Here’s a quick round-up of what we shared, what went down, and the big takeaways your team can still apply today.
Your next Invisalign patient is already in your chair
We kicked off with the truth:
Most practices don’t need more leads; they need to activate the ones they’ve already got.
We challenged the room to stop defaulting to ads and instead look at their own patient books. You already know these patients. You’ve already earned their trust. They’re warm leads just waiting for the right nudge.
Resources you’re probably not using enough
We walked teams through all the tools Invisalign provides, most of which are completely free but wildly underused:
- SmileView simulator
- My Invisalign App
- AI-powered smile visualisation tools
- Real-time case tracking
- Staff training support
The message? You already have everything you need. You just need to use it.
First impressions aren’t made in the chair
One of the biggest game-changers? Understanding that the Invisalign journey starts with a phone call, not a scan.
We showed teams how to empower their front-of-house and Treatment Coordinators to lead conversations that feel confident, caring, and valuable, not salesy.
Why? Because patients don’t care about your practice, they care about their own transformation.
And if you want their time, you need to earn it from that first “hello.”
Your competition isn’t the practice down the road…
…it’s your patient’s schedule, budget, and priorities.
This was a mindset shift we saw really land: you’re not competing with other practices, you’re competing for attention.
We got teams to reflect on their branding, content, and Instagram pages. Would they book with themselves based on what they saw?
We also reminded everyone: even in a saturated market, there’s a patient for every practice, as long as your messaging is clear and your value shines through.
Horror stories, laughs & slogan tee giveaways
To keep things fun (and real), we shared some classic Invisalign mishaps, like the iTero wand that fell on a patient’s head (oops) and the consult where a patient thought Invisalign was teeth whitening.
We ran interactive challenges, gave out slogan tees for engagement, and had the crowd laughing and learning the whole way through.
It was high energy, high value, just the way we like it.
The big message: Digital Smile Days start with you
Our whole talk boiled down to one message:
You don’t need more tools. You need to unlock the power of your team.
When your practice owns its story, uses the tools, and leads with care and clarity, that’s when Digital Smile Days become more than just events. They become the start of something transformational.
